The Education Team has three primary goals.

1) To educate amputees about different technologies and clinical practices available to them in a digestible way.

2) To educate current health care professionals and engineers about issues of inaccessible care and how to adapt their practice to improve access to care.

3) To educate future professionals, such as college students, about the field of prosthetics and how they can engage in the field.

The API production team focuses on the design and manufacturing of affordable and open-source prosthesis designs. We seek to improve open-source 3D-printed and other accessible prosthetic designs. We apply engineering processes and scientific principles to improve the user experience and safety of these designs

The goal of the production team is to make sure that when people get accessible prostheses, they also get quality prostheses.

The API communications team works to ensure that amputees, professionals, and the general public know who we are and how they can work with us.

The communications team also collaborates with amputees and healthcare professionals to ensure that we are addressing the most pressing needs of the community.
